Kamara split time in a crowded Tennessee backfield for two seasons, taking over as the feature back midway through 2016 after Jalen Hurd left the program. He finished his Vols career with 1,294 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground, adding 74 catches for 683 yards and seven more scores through the air.

The Saints traded up in the third round to grab Kamara 67th overall in 2017. He was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year that season and has been a Pro Bowler and two-time second-team All-Pro since — still New Orleans' offensive centerpiece a decade later.
